Description
FineTek SRT conveyor belt misalignment switch helps in monitoring the operation process for potentially hazardous conditions. It also activates an alarm on detecting misalignment. The roller arm can move up to 75° in either direction with an actuating angle 20° for alarm signal and 35° for shutting down system. The unit offers a simple installation and sensitive response. The outer housing is made of robust die cast aluminum with a certified protection type of IP67.
The machine is used in several applications like conventional belt conveyors, shuttle conveyors,
bucket elevators, packaging lines, stockpile/reclaim systems, cranes, shovels, draglines, ship loading / unloading system, horizontal feed systems etc. The unit houses an universal compact design for bi-direction activation with a manual reset lever.
The device offers an action force is 3.4- 5.4N.m (0.35 – 0.55kgf.m). Other features include bi-directional switch operation, plastic coated steel wire, compact design for tight-fit areas, highly visible black arm easily shows condition of the switch (indicating alarm or normal), operation sensitive behavior etc.
