Description
During a conveyor belt’s operation, a safety switch prevents damage or destruction of the belt should the belt run off the track. When the roller lever is deflected by the conveyor that has run off the track, the safety contacts inside the switch engage, which in turn disengages the conveyor belt.
Only when the cause of the malfunction is resolved can the system be restarted by virtue of the pull release key ring. Additional specifications of this belt alignment switch include the two positive opening NC contacts and two normally-opened contacts, a cast iron enclosure with 3 M20 X 1.5 cable entries ready for through wiring and a roller lever that comes mounted in ball bearings. A strong design guarantees trouble-free operations even during extreme circumstances.
