Description
The new transponder-coded safetyswitch CEM-C40 with solenoid features integrated evaluation electronics and is available with M12 plug connector for convenient connection to decentral peripheral devices as well as for operation as a separate device.
The CEM is used in applications in which guard locking is required for process protection. The solenoid achieves a locking force of 600 N and is also equipped with 3-level adhesive force adjustment. The CEM-C40 offers various diagnostic options, including detailed evaluation to the control system via available status signals and 2×4 LEDs integrated into the switch housing. These LEDs are easily visible from all directions and visually display all important information about the device’s status. The CEM-C40 achieves category 4 / PL e according to EN ISO 13849-1 and meets the requirements of EN ISO 14119 for a highly coded safety switch.
